✨ ABOUT ME…
I am a mama to 5, three boys and two girls ranging from 17-8 years old! I had all hospital births and they were amazing. Through course of talking to new mamas, I heard a lot of disappointment in their birth stories and the common thread was that they thought they had to go with what the doctor said and that they had no voice in the decisions. It broke my heart and realized if I didn't help them learn their voice and how to make informed decisions, that it was going to just stay the same, with the same experiences. I want to help them think about their birth experience they want and how we strive to work towards the best outcome, all while realizing that in birth we need to be able to pivot at points and have some wiggle room, and choose what is most important to them.
✨ I SPECIALIZE IN…
I am trained and certified as a labor and delivery doula, birth essential oil consultant and in postpartum and newborn care. I love all of those areas, but after dealing with postpartum with baby number four and not really having anyone there to know what to look for, or how to even talk about it.I sunk into that hole pretty deep. Mamas still need some mothering and nurturing doing that transition stage.
