A year ago, everything felt like it was falling apart. I was living in Singapore, supporting just a few clients, and preparing to move my family of seven to Abu Dhabi. I knew the transition would pause my business, so I poured energy into certifications: prenatal/postnatal yoga and Hypnobirthing, but deep down, I felt like all my progress was slipping away. With only 250 followers on Instagram (and hating every second of posting), I couldn’t see how I’d get momentum again.

Leaving Singapore hit me harder than I expected. It felt like all the work I’d done to build my business was wasted. But once we got settled, I leaned into support from the Birthworker Podcast and the free trainings I found inside Birthworker. Listening to other birthworkers’ stories and strategies reminded me I wasn’t alone, and it gave me the confidence to start again.

By January, I was back to supporting families in person as a childbirth educator, postpartum doula, and lactation counselor. I started applying what I learned from the podcast and programs and showing up consistently on Instagram, building simple offers, and treating my business like it deserved to grow. For the first time, posting three times a week didn’t feel pointless. It felt like momentum.

That shift made all the difference. I now have two upcoming birth clients, families who loved my prenatal classes, and others continuing to request my support. I even made enough income to reinvest back into myself by joining the Birthworker All Access Pass. Something I would have never done if I hadn’t first found confidence from the podcast and trainings.

The biggest difference is how I feel. I no longer see setbacks as wasted time, and I now see them as part of the journey. Instead of sad and stuck, I feel proud, confident, and excited about my next steps.

Looking ahead, I want to refine my offers, create a freebie, grow my IG, and really lean into my niche. But this time, I know I’m not figuring it out alone. I’ve got the tools, strategies, and community to guide me.
