A year ago, I had about 2,500 Instagram followers, but zero paying clients. At that point, I had only supported eight clients in total, and I was essentially on “maternity leave” from doula work. I had a dream of starting a podcast, but I didn’t know where to begin. Honestly, I felt like I had no direction at all.

Since diving into Birthworker’s programs, I’ve started to turn that around. I now have 3,600 Instagram followers, 2,500 podcast downloads, and two paying clients, and both of them are absolute dream clients. I also created a childbirth education course I’m so proud of. It’s not the explosive growth I originally imagined, but it’s real momentum, and it’s building.

One of the biggest highlights for me has been launching Birthing Hope, the only childbirth education course and support group hybrid program for moms who are pregnant after loss. This was such a meaningful project for me, and it wouldn’t have happened without the clarity and structure I gained through Birthworker.

Looking ahead, I’m setting big goals: booking 10 paying clients by January 1 and launching a course for birth professionals on supporting families through pregnancy and infant loss. For the first time, I can see how to get there.
