“Now, instead of feeling defeated, I feel excited about relaunching my CBE course and even starting a podcast.”
My business has been an uphill battle. This is my third year, and the journey hasn’t always looked how I thought it would. My first year, I had eight clients and felt on top of the world. I thought, “This is amazing, I can’t wait to see what’s next!” But then year two hit, and it was awful. I only had three clients the whole year. By the time last year rolled around, I was still piecing things together, creating content, struggling to grow an email list that barely had two people on it, and signing up for every free webinar I could find because money was tight. My stress level was through the roof, and I honestly wondered if I should just give up.
That’s when I decided to join the Birthworker Community. I knew I needed a change, and I needed the right people around me to help me grow. Having guidance, encouragement, and accountability from Kyleigh and the community was exactly what I was missing.
Since then, things have shifted. I’ve started booking more clients. I built a better website that’s actually bringing in traffic, my social media following is growing, and I even raised my rates, and people are still booking! My email list is finally moving in the right direction, and most importantly, my mindset has shifted. Instead of rushing and panicking, I’ve learned to trust the process. I know now that growth takes time, but it’s happening.
Some of my favorite wins this year have been growing my email list, signing new clients, and seeing more engagement on social media. I’m also dreaming bigger about what’s next: redoing my CBE course on a better platform and relaunching it, and even starting a podcast. I can’t wait to see what the rest of this year and next year bring.
