I’m Pontsho Pridesworth Tsiane, but you can call me Pontsho. It’s so wonderful to have you here!
I hail from a little town called Welkom, nestled in the heart of South Africa’s Free State province. It’s a place where community thrives, and that sense of togetherness has always been woven into the fabric of my being. Maybe that’s why I’ve always been drawn to the magic of childbirth and the world of children.
Ever since I was young, there was something awe-inspiring about the miracle of birth. The journey a woman takes to bring new life into the world, the strength, the vulnerability – it all fascinated me. And let’s not forget the little ones themselves! Their wide-eyed wonder at the world, their infectious laughter – they fill our lives with such joy.

But before I became a doula, I was a nanny and was in childcare for 10years. I love working with families hence my passion for wanting to be a Midwife.
