Hi there! I’m Abby!
I live in Seattle, WA with my fiancé and our crazy dog, Griffey. I have been working as a nanny and childcare provider for nearly a decade and am SO PASSIONATE about the wellbeing of young children and equally as passionate about the wellbeing and confidence of their caregivers! Throughout my years in childcare I’ve worked with several wonderful families and have been exposed to various parenting styles, child personalities, and common struggles of new parenthood while assisting with this transition.
I graduated from Oregon State University with a degree in Human Development & Family Sciences and a minor in Education. I took the Postpartum Doula program through Bastyr University in May 2023 and since then have become a Certified Baby Registry Expert and Childbirth Educator. Due to the various services I offer I refer to myself as a “Parent Doula” and work hard to provide support to parents in personalized capacities during early parenthood and the time in which they are preparing for this transition. I strongly believe that the level of support and confidence a mother or father has is directly related to the optimal development and attachment of their child and am excited to help facilitate this through my services! Every parent deserves to feel capable and connected through such a vulnerable time. I can’t wait to help you and your baby thrive!

As someone who has been trained in human development, childbirth education, doula support, and childcare, I draw on my experience and education in these areas to provide the best possible support to new parents. I am happy to work with anyone in this stage of life, but especially love working with first time parents so that I can help ease their anxiety, feelings of overwhelm, and build up their confidence in themselves as a parent. I feel passionately that every child deserves to grow up in a home where they are provided the opportunity to form a loving, secure attachment with their caregiver in order to give them the best opportunity to thrive throughout their lifetime. I strongly believe that an infant's attachment is directly related to their caregiver's feelings of confidence and capability and I am here to ensure that every parent feels like they were made for this!
